Outside Sales Representative
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with contractors, wholesalers, engineers, and other industry professionals to drive sales and promote our portfolio of plumbing and HVAC products. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering value to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, wholesalers, engineers, and other key decision-makers in the plumbing and HVAC industries.
- Promote and sell a diverse range of plumbing and HVAC products from leading manufacturers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and lunch-and-learns for clients.
- Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor activities.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and training sessions as required.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years of sales experience in the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and HVAC products and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
